Personal Bio

Shoshana grew up in Long Island NY finding happiness through art. Hanging around her grandfather, a talented Commercial Artist and painter, she was inspired to think of art as a creative process that has no boundaries. After graduating college Shoshana moved to New York City.

She had a successful career in marketing and communications in the financial industry. During that time she married her own Vermont version of Jim Carey, and together they bought a 1940s fixer-upper Cape Cod style house in Huntington NY. Renovating the home by reworking the inner walls to a more design forward layout, on their own, on a tight budget, inspired Shoshana to change career paths.

She is passionate about interior design, her community, volunteering to create positive impact, and as a dedicated Mom, cherishes her family time.

Shoshana’s Personal Sense Of Style

“I am a city and suburban girl enjoying simple every day beauty. I like fresh, comfortable spaces infused with color and personality regardless of space size. Beauty, to me, is the fusion of forward thinking design that incorporates pieces of our personal past. When decor of different eras, design aspects, and forms, co-exist right next to each other- it is magical!”
