Remembering 9/11 Ten Years Later
Monday, September 12, 2011
Ten years ago I was standing across the street from the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center when the first of two airplanes crashed into the first tower. To see it, was unbelievable; To think about all the people in the buildings, was unthinkable. Such a tragedy.
New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said it best today at a memorial service “Ten years have passed since a perfect blue sky morning turned into the blackest of nights.”

We can all recall where we were and what we were doing on September 11, 2001. My heart goes out to all those who were affected, to all those brave souls who lost their lives, gave their lives, who lost friends and family, and those who have painful memories from that awful day.
